In this document we explain the various scheduling functions available in IDHub.

Scheduling Function for Application On-boarding

For Connected Applications, scheduling the reconciliation will synchronize information from the application into IDHub, in a timely manner, ensuring data is correct in both places. Scheduler times are customizable, which allows for periodic reconciliation between IDHub and your Application.

Every time a reconciliation scheduler runs, a log is created in the Reconciliation Log section of the Application.

Below are the various scheduling options available while on-boarding an Application:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Yearly

  • Do not repeat

    • This is the default view and this means there is no need for reconciliation scheduler.

Daily Scheduling Function

    • repeat every 'x' days

      • Here you enter ‘x' days, this means, that the scheduler would run the certificate every 'x’ days. For example: If you enter 2 in here, this means, that the schedule would run the certificate every 2 days

    • select timezone

      • here you need to select the timezone from the drop-down at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • Time

      • Here you enter the exact time at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • End

      • never

        • This means that the scheduler would never end and would continue to run endlessly as per the set configuration.

      • On [date]

        • Here, you specify a date on which the scheduler would end.

Weekly

    • repeat every 'x' weeks

      • Here you enter ‘x' weeks, this means, that the scheduler would run the certificate every 'x’ weeks. For example: If you enter 2 in here, this means, that the schedule would run the certificate every 2 weeks

    • select timezone

      • here you need to select the timezone from the drop-down at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • Time

      • Here you enter the exact time at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • Repeat on

      • IDHub provides check-boxes from Monday to Saturday, so that you can check the actual days on which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • End

      • never

        • This means that the scheduler would never end and would continue to run endlessly as per the set configuration.

      • On [date]

        • Here, you specify a date on which the scheduler would end.

Monthly

    • repeat every 'x' month

      • Here you enter ‘x' month, this means, that the scheduler would run the certificate every 'x’ month. For example: If you enter 2 in here, this means, that the schedule would run the certificate every 2 month

    • select timezone

      • here you need to select the timezone from the drop-down at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • Time

      • Here you enter the exact time at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

    • Repeat on

      • day

        • You select the nth day of the month on which the scheduler would run the certificate.

      • First, second, Third, fourth, fifth & last. Also provide drop-down for Sunday to Saturday & weekday

        • For example: You can select First Friday from the 2 drop-downs, which means that the scheduler would run every first Friday of the month.

    • end

      • never

        • This means that the scheduler would never end and would continue to run endlessly as per the set configuration.

      • On [date]

        • Here, you specify a date on which the scheduler would end.

Yearly

    • repeat every 'x' year

      • Here you enter ‘x' year, this means, that the scheduler would run the certificate every 'x’ year. For example: If you enter 2 in here, this means, that the schedule would run the certificate every 2 year

    • Repeat on

      • month & day drop-downs

        • IDHub provides 2 drop-downs one is the drop-down for the month and the other is the drop-down for the days. So here you can select the ‘n’th day of the 'x’ month of the year at which the scheduler would run the certificate.

      • First, second, Third, fourth, fifth & last. Also provide drop-down for Sunday to Saturday & month drop-down

        • For example: You can select First Friday from the 2 drop-downs and August from the 3rd drop-down, which means that the scheduler would run the certificate every first Friday of August in the year.

Scheduling Function For Running a Certificate.

When you are creating a certificate, IDHub allows you to schedule running of that certificate. The different scheduling options that are there is exactly the same as described above. You can refer to the document here to get know more about creating a certificate.

Reporting Module Scheduling Function

The scheduling feature is also available for the reporting module. Again, the different scheduling options and their functionality is exactly the same as described above.
